City’s Mobile Office heads to Macassar and Voorbrug

03 February 2026

This week, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will once again be on the move to provide residents with convenient access to essential municipal services. The Mobile Office will be stationed at the Old Civic Centre in Macassar on Thursday, 5 February 2026, and at the Voorbrug Sports Ground in Delft on Friday, 6 February 2026. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to address account-related enquiries and access a range of City services closer to home.

The details are as follows:

  • Thursday, 5 February 2026, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Old Civic Centre, Bind Avenue, Macassar
  • Friday, 6 February 2026, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Voorbrug Sports Ground, Zandkloof Street, Voorbrug, Delft

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

‘As a caring City, we are pleased to bring our Mobile Office directly to residents’ doorsteps in Macassar and Voorbrug in Delft. This is a convenient way for community members to get help with non-emergency enquiries, such as rates, water, electricity and refuse accounts, right in their own neighbourhoods. To help us assist residents as quickly and efficiently as possible, we encourage them to bring along their ID or municipal account details,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
